TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE COMPANY FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD 100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
